Great location near La Merced with easy access to the hill of the cross. Multiple spacious and tidy rooms, including a massive one and a more modest one. Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly and helpful, even providing a take away bag for an early departure. The mini roof terrace offered a great view of Fuego at night. Views from the roof terrace were amazing.

Our stay at Hotel Maya Ik' was wonderful! The location was perfect, just steps away from the markets and iconic sites in town. The room we had was spacious and quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast served in the attached restaurant was absolutely fantastic, with a variety of delicious options on the menu. One of the highlights of our stay was the helpful and kind staff who always went above and beyond to assist us. Though there were a few minor inconveniences, such as the thin curtains and occasional street noise, the overall experience was exceptional. We highly recommend Hotel Maya Ik' for anyone visiting this beautiful town. we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return in the future.

The hotel boasts a great location near the Merced church as well as the hill of the cross. Guests could easily walk to the main attractions and the centre of town. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious, allowing guests to rest comfortably after hiking Acatenago or exploring the city.
The curtains did not effectively block out the light from the reception area in some rooms, causing a lack of privacy and sleep disturbance.
